What is a safety assessment?
Every cosmetic product sold in the EU requires a Cosmetic Product Safety Report (CPSR) before being placed on the market – the safety assessment in accordance with the EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009. It demonstrates that your product is safe under reasonably foreseeable conditions of use.
Why you need it: Without a CPSR, Product Information File (PIF) and CPNP notification, your product may not enter the EU market. Mistakes here lead to delays, recalls and fines.
